During half term, a team from GallifordTry undertook a project at very short notice to make an outdoor area of school safe whilst the children weren’t in school. This project has saved the school vital funds and we would like to thank GallifordTry for their time and resources.
Thank you for taking the time to look at our exciting website. We hope the information we share here is useful for our children and parents as well as prospective parents who are considering Brentnall as their child’s school.
I am Matt Thompson, Headteacher of Brentnall Primary School. I joined the school in September 2014 and believe Brentnall is a great place for our children to learn in a safe and nurturing environment.
My philosophy is that all children deserve the best possible start to their lives and this is what the staff at Brentnall aim to achieve. Everyone in our school belongs to and is a part of our happy and caring ‘school community’.
Successful education is all about working together and we welcome parental and community involvement in every aspect of what we do. There is always a welcome at school for every parent to share in all aspects of your child’s development.
At Brentnall we value every child and encourage them all to develop socially, emotionally, academically and physically to achieve his/her full potential in every aspect of their school life. We aim for all of the children to leave Brentnall as life- long learners who have academic skills and emotional resilience to take on any challenge that 21st Century life offers them. Your school days are meant to be the best days of your life and we strive to make this a reality for the children who come to our school.
We hope that you will share with us our values to be the best we can be for all of our children and look forward to working with yourselves and your children for many years to come!
The best way to see what a fantastic school Brentnall is, is to come and visit. Please contact the school office on 0161 792 4317 and we will happily to book an appointment with myself or one of our senior leaders.
