HEADTEACHER’S UPDATE – Friday 16th February 2018
It is hard to believe that we are half way through the school year today – doesn’t time fly!
This half term, the children have continued to work hard across all subjects and have extended their learning with educational visits and/or experiences in school. All classes have visited Chester Zoo and Key Stage 2 have been to The Museum of Science and Industry for part of their science lessons.
This week, Mrs Green was successful for the temporary post of School Administrator. Mrs Green will work alongside Miss Fox every morning and all day Wednesday. Should you need any support or guidance, please feel free to visit the office.
As you may already be aware, we are trying hard to grow the amount of followers we have on our school Twitter page @BrentnallCPS. We would like to ‘tweet’ as much news with you as possible such as, childrens’ learning, achievements, educational visits etc. If you have a Twitter account, why not follow us @BrentnallCPS.
Dan the Skipping Man
Yesterday, we welcomed Dan the Skipping Man to Brentnall. Dan conducted a 30 minute slot with each class in school and there was a show at the end of the school day. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Wishing you all a very enjoyable half term. I look forward to hearing about your break when we school re opens on Monday 26th February.
Mr. M Thompson
