After School Club during COVID-19 Pandemic
Times
After school will be over open Monday to Friday from 3pm until 5pm.
The After-School club will be situated in the Year 4/5 classroom with the use of the hall as a break out space.
Parents will collect from the main gate.
Capacity
In order to reduce the risk and promote social distancing capacity will be capped at 15 children.
Staffing
Two members of staff will be available at all times with additional support being offered when needed by members of the SLT.
Availability and Costs
Parents will book in advance for each session in weekly blocks e.g. booking for the week commencing 7th September will close on the 31st August. There will be a cost of £5 per session, this will be paid on ParentPay as above, one week in advance. Receipt of payment will confirm the place.
Where applications out number capacity a priority booking system will operate.
Priority will be given to the following;
- Children of critical/key workers
- Children of working parents
- Other children
If a child does not attend a booked session no remittance will be given.
Food
A health snack and drink will be offered during the session.
Children are not allowed to bring their own food.
Activities
Sport coaches will arrange social distance outdoor activities (weather permitting) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Activities on a Monday and Friday will be inside and also promote social distancing.
Routines
Throughout the session adults will ensure and promote good hand washing routines and good respiratory routines.

Pre COVID-19 Information
We aim to offer children with a variety of activities that meet their individual needs including outdoor games (weather permitting).
Times
Our After School Club operates in the school hall from 3:15-5:15 daily, term time only.
Fees
After School Club is £5 per pre-booked session or £6 if booked on the day per child.
Payment should be made in advance via Parent Pay.
Bookings
Booking forms are available from the After School Club Manager. Sessions can be booked weekly, half termly, termly or annually. If you require any other booking pattern, this can be organised with the Club Manager.
Booking forms must be handed in up to the Thursday before the intended start week so that staffing can be organised.
Ad hoc bookings can be made via the school office (0161 792 4317) but are subject to places being available and staff ratios on that day.
Sessions should be paid for at the time of booking or when collecting a child.
Refreshments
A small snack/fruit and juice drink will be available
Funding
Some parents may be eligible for support with funding through working tax credits.
